• The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the 22nd edition since the competition started in 1930 is the 14th appearance for Belgium while it is the 6th appearance for Morocco.

• Morocco won their last meeting with Belgium in all competitions, winning 4-1 in a friendly back in March 2008. They had lost their two (2) games against the Belgians before this.

• Morocco have lost only one of their last nine (9) International matches (W5 D3).

• Morocco have not conceded a goal in their last five (5) International matches.

• Six (6) out of the thirteen (13) African Nations have been able to progressed past the Group stages of the FIFA World Cup since it's inception in 1930 (Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Cameroon, Nigeria, Senegal and Ghana).
