2022 FIFA WORLD CUP PREVIEW: SPAIN VS GERMANY

• The 2010 Champions, Spain will lock horns with the 4-time Champions, Germany in Group E Round 2 fixture in the 2022 FIFA World Cup at the Al Bayt Stadium, Al-Khor on Sunday, 27th November, 2022 night in Qatar.

Predictions: Away win/draw

• The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the 22nd edition since the competition started in 1930 is the 16th appearance for Spain while it is the 20th appearance for Germany.

• HEAD-TO-HEAD

• The Group E showdown on Sunday, 27th November, 2022 will be Spain and Germany will be the fifth meeting between two sides at the FIFA World Cup competition, the joint-most that Spain have faced any side at the competition (also 5 vs Brazil).

• Iikay Gundogan has scored nine goals in twenty-two (22) appearances for Germany since the start of 2021, after scoring eight (8) goals in fourty-two (42) matches for the National team between 2011 and 2020. He's looking to become the first player to score in both of Germany's first two (2) matches at the FIFA World Cup since Miroslav Klose in the 2002 edition.
