GHANAIAN STRIKER JOSEPH ESSO SHINING BRIGHT IN MALAYSIA SUPER LEAGUE WITH NEGERI SEMBILAN

Joseph Esso is a 29-year-old Ghanaian footballer currently making an electrifying start with Malaysia Super League club Negeri Sembilan as a striker. 

He officially joined the club on July 16, 2025, on a mutual transfer agreement from Dreams FC and has already been making history with his impressive performances in the Malaysia Super League and Piala FA Malaysia.

Currently, Esso is among the top ten (10) scorers in the Malaysia Super League after ten (10) matches played, and with his great performances, he has propelled his side Negeri Sembilan into a good position in the league compared to last season.

Esso has contributed nine goals in fourteen appearances in both league and FA Cup, scoring 5 goals in the league and 2 goals in the FA Cup, respectively, for the ongoing season, with two assists.

Esso's side Negeri Sembilan will host Kuala Lumpur City in week 11 of the Malaysia Super League on December 20, 2025. 

Negeri Sembilan is currently in sixth position with 13 points in the ongoing Malaysia Super League.
