Ghanaian teenager Taufik Seidu has been included in Atletico Madrid's squad to face Liverpool at Anfield in the UEFA Champions League group phase game on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Seidu, who made his senior debut for Atletico Madrid during their pre-season clash against Portuguese side FC Porto, is expected to make his UEFA Champions League debut, a historic milestone for the youngster.
The 17-year-old, who was part of Diego Simeone's squad for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, has represented Spain at junior levels, captaining the U-17 team of La Roja.
Despite being born in Ghana, Seidu's talent and dedication have earned him a spot in Atletico Madrid's squad for this crucial match against Liverpool.
