2025 GHALCA TOP 4 TOURNAMENT VENUE CHANGE ANNOUNCED

The organizers of the 2025 Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Top 4 tournament have announced a change of venue for the competition. 

The University of Ghana Sports Stadium will now host the tournament, which features the top four teams from the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season.

Initially, the Accra Sports Stadium was scheduled to host the tournament. However, due to the Black Stars' crucial World Cup qualifier against Mali on September 8, the stadium is reserved for the national team's match. 

The change of venue ensures that both events can take place without any scheduling conflicts.

    - Asante Kotoko
    - Bibiani Gold Stars (Ghana Premier League Champions)
    - Hearts of Oak
    - Heart of Lions

Schedule: August 20-24, 2025

Opening Match: Asante Kotoko vs Bibiani Gold Stars on August 20, 2025

Other Match: Hearts of Oak vs Heart of Lions on August 20, 2025

The GHALCA Top 4 tournament serves as a key preparatory platform for the participating teams ahead of the new football season. 

It provides an opportunity for coaches to assess their squads, try new tactics, and build momentum.
