YOUNG APOSTLES CLAIM FIRST WIN OF SEASON WITH 2-1 VICTORY OVER DREAMS FC

Young Apostles recorded their first win of the season against Dreams FC on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Wenchi Sports Stadium. 

The hosts picked up all three points in a 2-1 win. Richmond Opoku opened the scoring in the 31st minute, giving Young Apostles the lead before halftime. 

Dreams FC, coming off two consecutive losses, injected more energy in the second half and equalized through substitute Ernest Appiah's goal in the 65th minute. 

However, Young Apostles mounted pressure and regained the lead in the 80th minute with Richmond Opoku's strike, securing a 2-1 victory.

Richmond Opoku emerged as the MVP of the game with a brace.

Young Apostles held on to their lead and finished the game with the maximum points, which propelled them into 8th place with 4 points. 

Dreams FC are second-last on the log with zero points after three games in the Ghana Premier League. 

Young Apostles will travel to face Techiman Eleven Wonders in their next league game, while Dreams FC will host Vision FC.
