Bechem United played out a goalless draw against Basake Holy Stars at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in the Ghana Premier League Week 2 fixture.
Bechem United are struggling in the league after two games without a win, following a disappointing result against Bibiani Gold Stars in the opening game at Duns Park.
Basake Holy Stars, on the other hand, remain unbeaten after a goalless draw against Techiman Eleven Wonders in their first match of the season.
Both teams showcased a good and entertaining performance, but neither could break the deadlock.
Despite the lack of goals, Frank Amankwah's impressive display for Bechem United earned him the Man of the Match award.
In the upcoming fixtures, Bechem United will travel to Kpando to face Heart of Lions in Week 3, while Basake Holy Stars are set to clash with Asante Kotoko, although the match may be postponed due to Kotoko's CAF Confederation Cup 2nd leg fixture against Kwara United in Nigeria.
After two games, Bechem United sits 13th with 1 point, and Basake Holy Stars is 11th with 2 points, with both teams still searching for their first win.
