BIBIANI GOLD STARS TO REPRESENT GHANA IN THE 2025-26 CAF INTER CLUB COMPETITION

Bibiani Gold Stars secured the Ghana Premier League title in their fourth season in nation's top-flight competition under the guidance of coach Stephen Frimpong Manso. The Miners as they are affectionately called accumulated 63 points to clinch the title.
• Bibiani Gold Stars were 11th at the end of 2023-24 season with 47 points, and were crowned champions at the end of the 2024-25 season with 63 points.
• For three (3) consecutive seasons, teams based in Western Region have won the Ghana Premier League trophy; Medeama SC (2022-23), FC Samartex 1996 (2023-24), Bibiani Gold Stars (2024-25).
• The Miners are the 5th club from the Western Part of Ghana to win the Ghana's top-flight league title since it's inception in 1956.

• Since the inception of the premier League, 106 new clubs have featured since 1956 and only fourteen (14) clubs have won the title so far with Kumasi Asante Kotoko been the most successful club with 24, followed by Accra Hearts of Oak (21), Obuasi Ashanti Gold (Goldfields) (4), Accra Great Olympics (2), Dormaa Aduana FC (2), Sekondi Eleven Wise (1), Accra Real Republicans (1), Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs (1), Sekondi Hasaacas (1), Berekum Chelsea (1), Legon Cities [Wa All Stars] (1), Tarkwa Medeama SC (1), FC Samartex (1), FC Samartex 1996 (1), and Bibiani Gold Stars (1).
• The Miners announced their presence in Ghana's flagship football competition with a 1-0 home win over the 2010-11 Champions, Berekum Chelsea at the Dun's Park, Bibiani.
Second half strike from Kingsford Boafo gave the host the only goal on the 53rd minute.
• Bibiani Gold Stars have faced Twenty-seven (27) opponents in the Ghana Premier League since 2021-22 season.
• Bibiani Gold Stars debut season in the Ghanaian top-flight competition was 2021-22 season, and below is their performances in seasons:
• 2021-22 season, 9th position with 46 points
• 2022-23 season, 5th position with 49 points
• 2023-24 season, 11th position with 47 points
• 2024-25 season, Champions with 63 points.
• Bibiani Gold Stars received the Ghana Premier League trophy and will represent Ghana for the CAF Champions League, and they will face the FA Cup Champions, Asante Kotoko on Sunday, 31st August, 2025 for the super cup trophy before the start of the 2025-26 season on 12th September, 2025.
