The Ghana Premier League kicked off over the weekend with 18 teams chasing the ultimate trophy for the 2025-26 season. 

Interesting and surprising results were recorded across 9 venues in the country, with history being made after the opening fixtures, and FACTSGH.COM has compiled in-depth records regarding the teams' games.

Bibiani Gold Stars recorded a 2-1 win over Bechem United at Duns Park in the opening fixture of the GPL season, keeping them unbeaten in their last two opening games. Bibiani Gold Stars have won all their Match Day 1 games in the GPL in the last two seasons with a 2-1 scoreline:
