Bechem United held a goalless draw against Hearts of Oak in Match Day 4 of the Ghana Premier League at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. 

Friday's football brought excitement to Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, where both teams displayed good entertainment in a game that didn't result in any goals. 

Bechem United dominated the attack at Nana Gyeabour Park, outpacing Hearts of Oak in possession with 52% and creating more scoring opportunities. 

Midfielder Augustine Okrah was instrumental in orchestrating plays, while Kofi Tompuo's direct runs consistently tested the Hearts defense. 

Despite their efforts, Bechem United struggled with finishing, and Hearts goalkeeper Benjamin Asare made three crucial saves to keep the match level .

In contrast, Hearts of Oak started strongly, dominating large portions of the first half but failed to create clear scoring chances. 

Despite taking seven shots, only two tested the Bechem United goalkeeper Benjamin Asiedu.

Meanwhile, Bechem United matched Hearts' shot tally with seven attempts of their own, but had three on target, making them the more threatening side in the final third.

Bechem United's attacking intent was evident in their set pieces, earning six corners to Hearts' none. 

Both teams showed physicality, with Bechem United receiving two yellow cards and Hearts one, in an otherwise disciplined match.

Emmanuel Sefah of Bechem United was crowned Man of the Match, having been instrumental in the game .

Bechem United remains winless in the season after Match Day 4 of Ghana Premier League. Hearts of Oak continues their unbeaten streak in the season with two wins and two draws after Match Day 4.

Bechem United will play away to Young Apostles, while Accra Hearts of Oak will host Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Week 9 fixture.

As part of efforts to enhance the delivery of the television schedule and to align with the FIFA calendar, Matchday 5 and Matchday 9 fixtures have been swapped.

Matchday 9 will now be played on the weekend of Friday, October 10 to Monday, October 13, 2025.
