HEARTS OF OAK HELD TO GOALLESS DRAW BY HOHOE UNITED IN GPL OPENER

Hearts of Oak and Hohoe  United have shared points in a 2025-26 Ghana Premier League match that ended in a 0-0 draw on September 12, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

However, after the draw against Hohoe United, Hearts of Oak's Match Day 1 winless streak in the Ghana premier league has continued, with the team failing to secure a win in their opening matches for 7 consecutive seasons.

Hohoe United's Solomon Adomako was red-carded in the  75th minute, becoming the first player to receive a red card in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Hearts of Oak failed to capitalize on their numerical advantage to win against Hohoe United.

Hearts of Oak were left frustrated after being held to a goalless draw by Hohoe United in the opening fixture of the 2025-26 Ghana Premier League season, despite an impressive performance in the preseason.

The Phobians will now turn their attention to next weekend's away clash against Dreams FC, while Hohoe United will look to build on their momentum when they welcome Young Apostles.
