HOHOE UNITED TO HOST WENCHI YOUNG APOSTLES IN GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHDAY 2

By: Isaac Amponsah (Dr Ike) and Aaron Kintoh

Predictions: Home win/draw

Hohoe United will face Young Apostles in a crucial Ghana Premier League matchday 2 encounter on September 20, 2025, at 15:00 GMT at the Hohoe Sports Stadium.

After being held to a goalless draw against Hearts of Oak in their opening fixture on the road at Accra, Hohoe United are determined to pick up their first win of the league season.

However, Hohoe United will be without their experienced defender Solomon Adomako, who was red-carded in the match against Hearts of Oak.

This could potentially impact the team's defensive strategy, and coach just hope that his team can adapt well without Adomako.

With their home fans cheering them on, Hohoe United will be under pressure to deliver a strong performance and secure a win. Hohoe United is currently 10th in the league standings with 1 point, having played one match with a draw.

On the other hand, Young Apostles had a tough start to the season, losing 0-2 to Medeama SC at home in their opening fixture.

They also struggled with away games in the previous season, losing five consecutive matches on the road. Nevertheless, Young Apostles will be looking to turn their fortunes around in Hohoe and make a good start in away matches.

Young Apostles is 18th in the league standings with 0 points, having played one match with a loss.

It promises to be an exciting encounter between two teams looking to get their season back on track.

Will Hohoe United's home advantage be enough to secure a win, or will Young Apostles pull off a surprise result? The match is definitely worth watching!
