ASANTE KOTOKO CAME FROM BEHIND TO BEAT HEARTS OF OAK TO CLINCH THEIR NINTH PRESIDENT CUP TITLE

• Hearts of Oak lost their seventh President Cup encounter with Asante Kotoko since the beginning of the competition in 1969.

In 2005, Kotoko beat Hearts 1-0 to win the President Cup on Friday, 1st July, 2005 courtesy George Yamoah. Ishmael Addo and Razak Ibrahim played as guests for Hearts, and Nii Odartey Lamptey played for Kotoko.
