DREAMS FALL TO 1-0 DEFEAT AGAINST HEART OF OAK

Dreams FC suffered a 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown in the 2025-26 Ghana Premier League Week 2 match.
Hussein Mohammed's 14th-minute strike opened the match and marked Hearts of Oak's first goal of the season. The midfielder's goal separated both sides after ninety minutes of action.
The victory provides a much-needed boost for Hearts following their lackluster goalless draw with Hohoe United in their opener.
Dreams, seeking to bounce back from their opening-day defeat to Heart of Lions, grew into the game after conceding but found it tough to convert their scoring opportunities.
Despite dominating possession and pushing for an equalizer, Hearts' defense remained solid and hard to breach.
Dreams' six-game unbeaten run against the visitors came to an end after losing today's game in the Ghana Premier League Week 2 fixture.
Hearts of Oak midfielder Raphael Amponsah won the MVP award.
Dreams FC, without a point after two games played, sits in 18th position, while Hearts of Oak occupy fourth position with four points.
In the Week 3 fixture, Dreams FC will play away to Young Apostles, and Hearts of Oak will face Techiman Eleven Wonders at home.
