GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE 2025-26: INTERESTING RECORDS AFTER WEEK SEVEN GAMES

The Ghana Premier League continued over the weekend with 18 teams chasing the ultimate trophy in the 2025-26 season. 

Interesting and surprising results were recorded across eight venues in the country, with history being made after Match Day seven fixtures. 

Six games saw over 1.5 goals, and two games played under 1.5 in the eight matches played during Match Day 7 of the Ghana Premier League, which started on Friday at the Kpando Sports Stadium.

The week's fixtures kicked off with one game played on Friday, one played on Saturday, and six games were played on Sunday, with one outstanding game between Vision FC and Asante Kotoko due to Asante Kotoko's Africa Confederation Cup campaign.

Heart of Lions made a stunning comeback, thrashing Basake Holy Stars 3-0 at the Kpando Sports Stadium on Friday in Match week 7 of the Premier League.

Hearts of Oak and Bibiani Gold Stars put on a thrilling show at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, ending in a 2-2 draw that maintained the Phobians' unbeaten streak but dropped them out of the top four in the Premier League.
