HEARTS OF OAK CLINCH FIRST HOME WIN WITH 1-0 VICTORY OVER TECHIMAN ELEVEN WONDERS

Hearts of Oak secured their first home victory of the Ghana Premier League season with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Techiman Eleven Wonders on Friday night in Week Three. 

Midfielder Enoch Asubonteng struck the decisive goal in the 18th minute at the Accra Sports Stadium, calmly finishing to give the Phobians an early lead. 

Hearts of Oak extended their unbeaten streak to ten matches in the Ghana Premier League, while Techiman Eleven Wonders remain winless in their last three games, still seeking their first win of the season. 

The visitors showed renewed determination after conceding the goal but failed to equalize and beat Hearts of Oak's defense, who is yet to concede a goal in the league. 

With the result, Hearts of Oak climb to seven points and sit in first position from their opening three matches, while Eleven Wonders remain a point behind after back-to-back defeats. 

Midfielder Enoch Asubonteng won the MVP award after his sole goal grabbed the maximum three points for his side, Hearts of Oak. 

Hearts of Oak have won all their Friday games against Techiman Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League since the 2020-21 season with a 1-0 scoreline:
- May 21, 2021: Eleven Wonders      0-1 Hearts of Oak (Match Day 26) [2020-21]
