SAMUEL ATTAH KUMI SCORES FIRST GOAL OF 2025-26 GHANA PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON

Bibiani Gold Stars forward Samuel Attah Kumi becomes the first player to score the first goal of the 2025-26 season.
The 26-year-old striker converted a penalty kick in the 3rd minute for his team, Bibiani Gold Stars, against Bechem United in match day one of the 2025-26 Ghana Premier League at Duns Park in Bibiani.
Attah Kumi doubled the tally on the 22nd mark of the game. He is the first player to score a brace in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League.
He was also named the winner of the Man of the Match award.
The 2025-26 Ghana Premier League kicked off yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium, where the home side, Accra Hearts of Oak, were held to a goalless draw against Hohoe United.
Bibiani Gold Stars secured three points after the game ended 2-1 against Bechem United.
The former Karela United player joined the miners in the 2024-25 season on a two-year contract.
He managed to score 10 goals in 26 appearances in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
