16 BLACK STARS PLAYERS BEGIN CAMP FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIES

The Ghana Black Stars have 16 players reporting to camp ahead of the double clash against Chad and Mali in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. 

Head coach Otto Addo announced a 24-man squad on Wednesday to start preparations on Monday, September 1, 2025, in Accra, Ghana.

Currently, 16 players have reported to camp to begin training at the Accra Sports Stadium before the entire squad departs for Chad. 

Thomas Partey is among the remaining players yet to join the team camp, but all players are expected to join today before leaving the country.

Training and Schedule:

The Black Stars will train in Accra on Monday ahead of the two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali. The team will hold two training sessions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday and Tuesday before flying to N'Djamena.

Ghana currently tops Group I in the African Qualifiers with 15 points, after five wins and one loss from six matches.
