KWARA UNITED NAMES 23-MAN SQUAD FOR CAF CONFEDERATION CUP CLASH AGAINST ASANTE KOTOKO

Kwara United head coach Tunde Sanni has named a 23-man squad to face Ghanaian side Kumasi Asante Kotoko ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary match. 

The Nigeria-based Ilorin club will play away against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first preliminary round's first leg of the 2025-26 CAF Confederation Cup.

Kwara United made their CAF Confederation Cup debut in 2007 and progressed to the group stage. This year's edition marks their third appearance in the competition, with their previous exit occurring in the second round of the 2022-23 season.

Kwara United has been intensifying preparations for the new campaign under coach Tunde Sanni, who has expressed confidence in his team's chances against Asante Kotoko.
