MEDEAMA SC CONTINUES WINNING STREAK WITH 4-0 DEMOLITION OF VISION FC

Medeama SC thrashed Vision FC 4-0 at the TNA Sports Stadium in Tarkwa in a Week 2 fixture of the Ghana Premier League. 

The Tarkwa-based side showcased a superb performance in their opening home game of the 2025-26 season, with Kamaradini Mamudu opening the scoring in the 17th minute from a corner kick. 

Vision's defense was breached further when Emmanuel Sanja scored an own goal in the 31st minute, doubling Medeama's lead.

In the second half, Vision  FC pushed hard to find a goal, but Medeama's goalkeeper Felix Kyei made crucial saves to deny them. 

Medeama SC sealed their victory with Emmanuel Owusu scoring the third goal in the 81st minute, beating goalkeeper Kwame Aziz with a brilliant individual effort. 

Substitute Ibrahim Nurudeen wrapped up the win with the fourth goal in the 84th minute.

Vision FC remains winless in their two games this season, drawing goalless with FC Samartex at home and losing 4-0 to Medeama SC. 

Medeama SC's Kelvin Nkrumah was adjudged MVP of the match, with his excellent performance contributing to his team's victory.

Medeama SC maintains a 100% win record in the league, topping the log with six points from two games and keeping two clean sheets.

Medeama SC will travel to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale to play away against Karela United in a Week 3 fixture of the Ghana Premier League, with a 3:00 pm kickoff on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Vision FC returns home to regroup as they welcome Hohoe United on Matchday 3 at their home ground, the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, with a 3:00 pm kickoff.
