GHANA'S BLACK STARS CLIMB TO 75TH IN LATEST FIFA RANKINGS

Ghana's Black Stars have climbed one spot to 75th in the latest FIFA rankings, following their impressive performances in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. 

Under the guidance of coach Otto Addo, the team secured a draw against Chad and a win against Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium, boosting their position in the global rankings.

Key Highlights:

- Global Ranking: Ghana has climbed from 76th to 75th position globally, overtaking Israel, who dropped two places.

- African Ranking: Despite the improvement in global ranking, the Black Stars maintain their 14th position in Africa, behind teams like Senegal (20th globally), Morocco (13th globally), and Egypt (37th globally).

- Recent Performance: Ghana's wins in the World Cup qualifiers have contributed significantly to their rise in the rankings.

- Coach Otto Addo's Goal: Addo aims to further improve the team's ranking when they return to action later in the year, potentially moving Ghana into the top 70 globally.
